Adblock Plus

Recently, each time I open Firefox, a new tab opens saying "Installation Successful!". It contains this message: "It seems that an issue caused all filters to be removed and we were unable to restore a backup. Therefore we had to reset your filters and Acceptable Ads settings. Please check your filter lists and Acceptable Ads settings in the Adblock Plus options." And then each time I open a page that I previously whitelisted, I have to disable Adblocker again. Adblock Plus isn't reinstalling itself, it's just that the browser prevents it from keeping any of its settings. Unfortunately, there's not much that the extension do about that because the problem is outside of the extension. Therefore please try to reinstall Adblock Plus to see whether that fixes the problem.

Otherwise, you can try creating a new browser profile or reinstalling Firefox.
