Sorry if this has been answered before, but I would like to change from adblock to the plus ver. and have some questions:
Do I have to un-install first Ad-Block ?
are there any procedures I have to be aware of ?
Currently I am using the Filter G and I love it, I suppose that there are some
things that need to be tweaked with Filter G, so any insight on this change will be greatly apreciated before I proceed.

It is better to uninstall Adblock.
Your options will be stored even with Adblock uninstalled.
There is an Extension to autoupdate Filterset G with Adblock Plus. The only important thing is, that you should also include the Filterset G whitelist.
One thing you might notice is, that can block almost everything if set to block it. So there is a greater chance to get false positives. So If you added your own filter to Filterset G you need to check them again. G used the whitelist to unblock false positives he got due to this abbility of AdBlock Plus.
