Block Kim Kardashian???

Is there any way to block Kim Kardashian news stories and pictures using adblock?
I visit a news site frequently and am sick and tired of seeing her face every day.

No, ABP doesn't understand context or meaning.
I would suggest finding a news outlet which deals in actual news, instead of trafficking in intellectually empty pageview bait.

Try the following filters just for shits and giggles:
They're all super-slow according to the matching algorithm and bound to give false positives but they do block the occasional Kardashian pic; they can't, however, keep you from clicking on a link to a story about her and then reading the story, because ABP does not block the initial HTTP request from the address bar (try Opera if you want that, and more false positives).

click abp icon, filter preferences, "custom filters" tab, if you dont see any filters group create 1, then paste the filters above in the right panel (if you dont see the panel drag the vertical pointed line on the right to the left)

Adblocking rules or Element Hiding Rules? Do I add each line as a new line?

doesn't matter where you place the filters ,,,anyway place them in the hiding ones
copy all the filters and paste them in the panel ==> will result a number of ... 3 filters

This also works for Kim's confused step person & other things I do not want to see. Works great.
