Blocking messages which object to adblockers

Post by Damrak »

If you use AdBlock Plus, it is annoying to have websites request you not to do that. So you want to get rid of those messages and block them as well.

AdBlock Plus doesn't always find the right wording to do that.

Like in this case:

Code: Select all

Close to the top, there is a warning in Dutch and in yellow.

Block Element suggests blocking "nu.nl##.block-content". But you don't want that, just the tiny yellow part.

Studying the source shows that toast.adblocker is what needs to be blocked.

It would be nice if AdBlock Plus could discover that correct wording for the element that you want to block.

Adblock 3.3.2.
Windows 10.
Chrome version 69.
