Adblock Plus

Greetings.

I've recently encountered a new issue regarding Ad Block Plus.

This issue, so far, appeared in Google, Youtube and Facebook.

Side-note: regular Youtube adds are blocked. No problem with that.

The issue right after loading the page. It is a small rectangle on the bottom middle area of the monitor, and on the left middle. The rectangle contains two images; one is the famous "broken link" icon, which shows a paper with a "dead" face. (Excuse my reference). The second image is the CLOSE icon, which sometimes doesn't work.
There is no gif, or no advertising on it.

While in desktop, I can close it, but on netbook (Exomate N201), CLOSE doesn't work.

To have an idea, both rectangles are on top of the tool bar in Youtube videos. You can't play, pause or full-screen unless you close the add. On the netbook, I need to second-click the add, open the element editor and get rid of it manually. Sadly, if I re-load the page, it appears again.

what other extensions are you using ? (try disabling all other extensions and try again)

Disabling extensions fixed it.

All the extensions I have are two from movie sites, one of AVG SafeGuard and the ABP.

What would be the explanation for it?

could be in conflict with ABP or they inject ADS in the pages you visit, so ...better you uninstall them
can you post the name of those extensions ?

The name of the extension is "Ver Pelis - Reproductor Online y Notificador" which means "Online reproducer and notificator".

What it does, basically, it lets me see movies online, and also notifies me about the soon to come movies.

uninstall that extension and try again

from the extension page (a review)
"Me molestan los anuncios que salen en las paginas"

so, that extension isnt clean
