Maybe your chrome profile is corrupted.
You have to reset chrome, reinstall your extensions but first save your filters, bookmarks, settings and passwords.

Followed instructions for chrome reset. It worked! My file must have been corrupted.

Big thanks to mapx for the help you provided and the time you put in, and also to smed79 for the suggestion that fixed my particular issue.

And yet after the page loads, the scroll bar is still disabled and the page won't scroll (however, the video does play if it's visible).

Any ideas for how to block that last bit of KBB AdBlock Plus annoyance?
