Daily Caller new static ads not blocked
Re: Daily Caller new static ads not blocked
The first two tries having problems must have been a coincidence of some sort. The next two tries connected w/o issue.

Re: Daily Caller new static ads not blocked
I may not have done it right, but the ads are still there with the provided code. Tried it twice with the same results. I highlighted the code, right clicked, copy, went to "add your own filters" in ABP, pasted into the window, then pressed "add filter." Then I closed Chrome and returned to the site twice, ads still appearing. Am I doing something wrong?

Re: Daily Caller new static ads not blocked
Did you add 6 separate filters (rows) ?
You have to click "Edit filters as raw text" and paste the filters above, then click "apply changes"

Re: Daily Caller new static ads not blocked
Thanks for the clarification. I had not done what you said, but then I did, but the ads still appear. During an earlier correction, you had suggested I use a beta version of a new release of the extension. I never changed from using that. Could that be my problem? If it is, I do not know what I would need to do to no longer use the beta.

Re: Daily Caller new static ads not blocked
these 3 filters are working fine
disable all other extensions, keep only ABP, test again
Code: Select all

Re: Daily Caller new static ads not blocked
Did that, but I am still seeing ads. Is it possible for me to upload a screenshot? I have a sample pictured under the "sponsored content" red text. When ad blocking was working previously, no pictures appeared under the "sponsored content" text. Now pictures are there, which I can show in a screenshot, if possible.
Re: Daily Caller new static ads not blocked
sure, upload a screenshot on imgur.com (or other images host) then post here the link

Re: Daily Caller new static ads not blocked
OK. That did the trick. Thanks!
Re: Daily Caller new static ads not blocked
install last dev build
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... ifjjdoepkn
(remove / disable the current ABP - first save your custom filters)

Re: Daily Caller new static ads not blocked
Sorry. When I click the link provided, I don't see an option to add the latest development build. I clicked on "website," then "install for chrome," but that seems to only produce the stable version.
