[SOLVED] Trying to whitelist a site

I'm an avid shopper at Dollar Tree stores so I've asked them to send me the weekly newsletters. In the emails are links to the current ads so I've created a whitelisted "*.dollartree.com" but every time I click a link to see the weekly ad the tab is closed as soon as the link is translated from something like http://link.mailing.dollartree.com/u.d? ... PP1yr=1371 to something like http://ads.dollartree.com/SneakPeek/htm ... .7.0.18.14 . I've even tried to write a filter as "@@||ads.dollartree.com/^$document" but each time I have to manually copy the link from the email and paste it into a new tab to be able to see the ad.

I'm running Adblock Plus 1.11 in Chrome 50.0.2661.102 (64-bit) on SolydK Linux (Linux kernel Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64).
