Hello, they added an overlay popup on

that I tried to block using a custom filter but it started blocking other things too.

I went into resources and looked at the scripts running and made:
||static.nhentai.net^$domain=nhentai.net

That blocked the ad but messed up a whole lot more with the entire page so I tried blocking the specific script instead with:
||static.nhentai.net/js/combined.8dc35184b6c8.js^$domain=nhentai.net

This blocks the ad and doesn't mess up the site completely but when you go to view a doujin all of the thumbnails are blank and don't show.

So I can't figure out how to block the overlay popup ad without messing up other stuff on the site. With that filter that also makes the thumbnails not show it makes errors that say:
Uncaught ReferenceError: N is not defined

the popup is closed quickly by ABP / chrome. I can't see how to disable it permanently.

Ok thanks for checking mapx! I might just disable javascript on that site specifically.

I tried doing that to see if it would affect anything and it does show the thumbnails, but then has a line of the same thumbnails repeated again but blank, and then the next line of thumbnails, then another repeated line of blank ones.
Like:
Line of blank squares: pages 1,2,3,4,5
Normal/fine same thumbnail line: pages 1,2,3,4,5
Blank squares: pages 6,7,8,9,10
Normal/fine: pages 6,7,8,9,10


It's kinda weird but at least I can see the thumbnails somehow with that with javascript turned off.

with ABP there is no other way.

you can try using a cookie manager and set up the expiry date do 2020 for example, then protect that cookie.
