I could be a coincidence, not related, but odd.
Pretty much simultaneous.
A) Added this that fixed CBS.com - for now:
Code: Select all
@@||pubads.g.doubleclick.net/gampad/ads?*rule=$domain=cbs.com
@@|http://$xmlhttprequest,image,domain=cbs.com
@@/adblock$domain=cbs.com
@@||ifmnwi.club$domain=cbs.com
secure.meetup.com##A[class="message-authorName j-authorName"]
cbs.com#@##adbottom
B). Updated ABP for the first time in a while.
Went to NBC and MSNBC within an hour or so, and now ads are appearing in both. So, removed the above CBS filter code in case it was somehow causing this (not likely). Didn't make any difference.

I don't own an HDTV or have cable due to having only a Soc. Security disability fixed income, so rely on Net-only to view my fave shows.
Q-1: Has NBC/MSNBC recently gotten more agressive against ad-blocking and it was just a weird coincidence? Or did the ABP update change something that they now have succeeded in nuking?
Q-2: What filter code can I add to fix both NBC and MSNBC?
Thanks for any assistance.
