Help with adding my own filter.

Post by Sulde1993 »

Hello, Can someone please help me with this? I am just trying to create a simple filter to block an IP. Everything I try does not work and for some reason I have a hard time understanding how to create my own filters. What I am trying to block is the IP of 35.184.137.181. It keeps popping up on a site that I use every day. Thank you in advance for any help provided.

My attempts are:
http://35.184.137.181/*
http://35.184.137.181*
http://35.184.137.181*/
*35.184.137.181*
*35.184.137.181/*

Specific links to the bad popups are: WARNING - Some of these may be difficult to close.

You probably have a malware infection; but [the general pattern](filters#anchors) to block content from a particular domain or IP address, along with any subdomains, whether HTTP or HTTPS, on any port, is ||<domain_or_IP>^

I'm trying to keep this post from getting redacted, so I won't show exactly what the rule would look like.
