If using ABP under Chrome 61 under Windows 7, upon opening an article on the site spiegel.de a window overlays the whole page, telling you to disable ABP in order to view the page. OTOH, they have many blinking and flashing ads, which I find distracting. I've seen this behaviour with a few other pages.
If they can detect ABP and practically preventing you from using it, then I don't quite grasp the use of ABP anymore. I'm not sure there's any setting change I can do, I guess you need to revamp a bit the way ABP works.
