I'm having same issues as OP in addition to the sites mentioned I've also seen issues on the following sites. I'm assuming all these sites have something in common which is causing this issue.
Chrome Version: 62.0.3202.62 (Official Build) (64-bit)
AdBlockPlus Version: 1.13.4

Code: Select all

www.ign.com

Code: Select all

www.edmunds.com
Adblock Enabled:

j343 wrote:I first noticed this problem on MSN. With Adblock enabled, MSN would render with the wrong font size. Specifically, a font about two or three times the optimal size. It's as if some CSS used by the whole page is being blocked along with an ad. The problem exists on most the Ziff Davis sites such as PCMag, ExtremeTech, Toolbox, and others. If you try the links at the bottom of any of those site, you can reproduce this problem. MSN seems to be OK as of a few days ago. With most of the others, the page renders incorrectly if Adblock is enabled, just fine (except for the presence of ads ;-) if it is disabled. This problem doesn't seem to exist in IE.
So do I, the same problem with some sites. Is there any way to fix it soon?

@didier, report filter issues at easylist forum
http://forums.lanik.us/

and not "some", you have to indicate exactly page link, what is the issue, upload screenshots, provide info (browser version, ABP version, filter lists)

Please see the examples above which contain links, versions, and snapshots.

As of today, I am having the same problem again. It wasn't there yesterday, which leads me to believe that it is related to specific ads that are blocked. Since ads are often selected based on browsing history and cookies, it's quite possible that I would see this problem and others will not.

Is there a way to get a list of the ads and elements blocked by AdBlock on a page?

for edmunds (and other sites like it) nothing to do .. with ABP, they are using a very nasty advertising mechanism. Use uBo (ublock origin).

to see what is blocked in ABP see here:
