msn.com page does not load with Adblock Plus enabled

There are previous threads related to issues with MSN.COM pages not working properly with Adblock plus enabled.

Over the last week I found that the page fails to load properly giving me an unformatted page (after the initial page load) indicating that there is some issue with my add blocking software.

What I've found is
1. The page will load properly if I disable the Adblock plus extension in Chrome
2. The page will load if I disable Adblock plus for the page
3. The page will load if I disable Adblock plus and use the uBlock Origin Chrome extension instead

I'd much prefer Adblock plus but the ads on msn.com are so intrusive that I need something.

Any tips or tricks or is this a new/known issue?

I'm using Chrome Version 62.0.3202.89 (Official Build) (64-bit)
on macOS High Sierra 10.13.1

Thanks. That mostly worked, I still have the ad at the top of the page load (ad choices) and then it is blanked out but leaving the large frame where the ad was at the top of the page. Previously (and with uBlock) that area doesn't display at all.

yes, uBo + uBo extra is working fine.
