adblock not working on wikia sites

go to any of the wikia pages and you get ads all over the place now, such as on the halo wikia.

now if I load the pages on firefox 49...adblock plus works as intended...

I go to the site you linked to, I copy the code into the add new filter screen...and it does not work.

still getting ads on wikia sites on chrome. doesnt matter if I visit the halo wikia or gundam wikia.

I know chrome uses some IE settings..is it possible, due to some kind of conflict, that adblock plus on IE is interfering with adblock plus, on chrome?

I'm not sure that quantserve.com would be a source of ads: I thought that domain was strictly for analytics, and I'm not sure where the ads would have come from, out of the few resources that showed up in the logger as blocked.

ok, the only difference in my two computers, is this desktop is windows 10 and is UNAFFECTED by the issue. the windows 8.1 laptop however is affected.

both are running identical configurations on the chrome browser.
