All of a sudden, I get a pop-up from Ad Block Plus whenever I go to a new page. It tells me that this page has ads targeting Ad Block Plus users and do I want to allow or block. I can't get rid of this thing!

Go into options, filter lists, disable this list: "Adblock Warning Removal List"
- eventually restart chrome and test again

Getting the same problem with same message on multiple machines and multiple users, all using Chrome on Windows and Ubuntu. The solution above doesn't work.

In Options, Filter Lists:

Adblock Warning Removal List already has Enabled unchecked, but the setting is not respected.

Also if the pop-up is dismissed, it comes back for the same site on page refresh. E.g. when browsing gmail, shows on first page load. Dismiss. Click into an email to read, pop-up shows again.
For some users it re-occurs for every click on gmail

Definitely seems like a bug.

The only way to avoid is to disable adblock for that site.

I've had a look and the "Adblock Warning Removal List" is already disabled.
What about the "easy list"? Shall I disabled it?

No, easylist ...is the main list without it ABP = 0

Try removing completely (not only disabling) "Adblock Warning Removal List", restart chrome, see what happens

What's your chrome version ?
ABP stable or dev build ? (and what version)

It was opened a ticket on the bug tracker
https://issues.adblockplus.org/ticket/6091

workaround ? install last dev build:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... ifjjdoepkn

and disable the current ABP

Well, as you can see from the ticket, it was a wrtong rule in that special list. It was removed now and you can still use the stable build of ABP.
