Hi I am trying to block google text ads appearing on google search at the top of the page. Print Screen of ad: https://prnt.sc/il6d9v
When I click "Block Element" the following text appears: google.com.sg###f5a975bb974f22
This element changes with each new search. How can I block these ads from appearing?
Note: I have already unchecked "Allow some non-intrusive advertising"
Block Google text ads
Re: Block Google text ads
Once we type anything on Google search (using chrome) many ads come up previous and between the search results. All text, but as you can see on the right top corner (inside the search results there is a "ads X" in light gray as the print screen from the previous post.mapx wrote:I cannot reproduce those ads.
Please support to remove it.
Re: Block Google text ads
I have been having the same text ads appearing for the last few weeks https://prnt.sc/ly3kgt
There is usually a large block of 2-5 ads at the top of the page, one half way down the search page and a couple more at the bottom. I have also had it where I am redirected to a related website to a search entry I click on (Not an ad) which opens in a new tab.
The text ads also occur on the image search tab.

Re: Block Google text ads
Yes the acceptable ads have been disabled
Re: Block Google text ads
If you still can reproduce the ads, click ABP icon, click "report an issue" and follow all the steps. Then post here the report link.

Yep they are still there, report link is here https://reports.adblockplus.org/e9b1b04 ... 671b885d23
*Update*
I managed to get the ads to stop, turns out the laubeyrietechnology requests were coming from a video downloading extension which had become compromised. I disabled it and the ads are gone.
