I've been using adblock since many years but recently i have noticed one issue with ABP, that google sites are not working properly. Like in google drive when ABP is enabled it is showing me that you are currently offline even when internet is working fine. After disabling ABP it works fine. In gmail when i try to send message with hangouts it stopped working and message were not sent. But after disabling abp it started working. In console I see ABP is blocking all other requests too which are required to perform necessary actions.

- what filters lists are you using ?
- disable all your custom filters and test again
- disable all other extensions, test again
- follow the indications here:

and post all the triggered filters (indicating which google site are you testing)
- if nothing helps repeat your tests in a clean profile with only ABP or using chrome portable + ABP
