I run a forum with ZERO ads, but Ad Blocker disables it

Post by HugAJackass »

Hey gang! I hope everyone is well today!

I run a small private forum for a group of friends, and it seems that Ad Blocker is downloading scripts and making all links on the page disabled.

Some of my guys cannot login as a result.

I don't have any ads on the site whatsoever. It's completely funded by donations from the guys on it. It's a phpbb 3.2.2 forum, so I'm not sure why ad blocker is doing this.

I know they could add the forum to their individual whitelists, but I don't want them to have to.

Have you seen this before? Is there something that I can edit, or do they have to whitelist the forum?

I placed this post in this forum because he's primarily using Android devices and Chrome on Windows.

- provide the forum address
- what filter lists do your users use when they get the issues ?

There are many more issues while using the Chrome browser. One of the general issues is the error of Err Spdy Protocol. It appears when you are trying to open a new webpage. Last day when I was using the chrome this error appears again and again. Then I visit Fix Err Spdy Protocol Error or

Code: Select all

for the help. I follow all the steps mentioned and now there is no such issue on my system.
