Hallo ist dieses update wirklich von adblock plus oder fake ?
konnte nichts über google rausfinden oder im forum diese meldung ist einfach aufgeploppt

die adresse war : chrome-extension://cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb/updates.html

Dies ist tatsächlich real, da dies genau in der selben Adresse und im selben Bild bei mir erschienen ist, und ich keinerlei Viren besitze.

Es kann doch nicht sein, dass einem jetzt bei jedem Chrome-Start "Adblock wurde aktualisiert" als automatisch geöffneter Tab vorgesetzt wird.

Yes this update is really from ABP and is not fake. Please let us know if you're having any issues with it.

Kindly confirm your Chrome version, device and operating system so we can test further to see why this is happening.

I'm using Chrome Version 65.0.3325.181 on Windows 10

Same here. Every time I open Chromium, a new tab with the "Adblock Plus has been updated!" would open. This happens only since recently. I'm working on Chromium 'Version 66.0.3359.117 (Official Build) Arch Linux (64-bit)'.

Edit: reinstalling ABP fixed the issue for me

While we are working on releasing a workaround for this, we haven't so far been able to see why exactly this happens. If this issue still exists, we should kindly ask you to provide us with this piece of information:

1. Go to chrome://extensions/
2. In top right corner, switch on "Developer mode"
3. At the Adblock Plus extension, click "background page"
4. In the Console tab, paste this and press Enter:
