Adblock Plus Version: 1.0.23
Filter subscriptions:
EasyList by Michael, Ares2, Erunno, Khrin, MonztA
Recommended filters for Google Chrome


If you go to philly.com, you'll see a phillydealyo ad banner across the top of the page. I took a screen shot of it as well, in case that's helpful.

I used the chrome element inspector and found that this ad was part of some class called adUnit. Based on that, I added the following custom filter, which seemed to get rid of the ad.

philly.com##.adUnit

I'm not sure if there's a better or more efficient way to block it.

This ad is blocked with Adblock Plus in Firefox, using the easylist subscription.

I'm not sure why it is blocked in Firefox - EasyList doesn't block it explicitly. But that filter sounds like a good suggestion for the Chrome filter list.
