For reference, that's about an IFRAME with ID "dcAd-1-1". Adblock Plus for Chrome is currently unable to block it (frame source is ad-apac.doubleclick.net while we are only blocking ad.doubleclick.net) but for me it is hiding that frame correctly - nothing shows up. But I guess that adding these two filters to the special Chrome subscription won't harm:
Code: Select all
||ad-emea.doubleclick.net^$third-party
||ad-apac.doubleclick.net^$third-party

If Chrome is currently unable to block object sub-requests, I see no reason why ||doubleclick.net^$third-party should not be added to the transition subscription, as it would be equivalent to the EasyList filter ||doubleclick.net^$~object_subrequest,third-party. Should I make this alteration instead?

Yes, sounds like a good idea.

I can confirm that this filter works but isn't too effective against this particular frame - it loads too early (viewtopic.php?p=40569#p40569).
