Adblock Plus

I would love to use Startpage.com instead of google for my searches, but these pesky sponsored links at the top makes this almost unusable (because even though they have this tiny little box saying 'ad' in front of them, they just manage to trick me again and again into clicking them, altough I never intend to...)- can I somehow block them?

Disable the acceptable ads.

I really can't see how these are supposed to be acceptable, since they're so resembling the actual content, IMHO they're even less 'acceptable' than, say, ads on the side that are 1) elsewhere, not right where I expect content 2) clearly identifiable as ads without even looking at them. So that they're much more easy to ignore. Ads are just a pest.

Why does AdBlockPlus not block Affiliate links? I'd like to know if it blocks certain affiliate banners and links on WordPress blogs.

I can't block a PUP banners in browser. Who can help me? I have long been playing on the apppicker.com/reviews/21511/Casino-Blackjack-21-app-review-fast-paced-casino-action! And sometimes, there are times when you need to remove pop-up ads! It is annoying! Maybe there is some setting somewhere?
