Abp for Chrome can noway to block ads inside flash/java object since they are running in independent processes. So it rewrites the flashvars, blocking youtube ads in a unusual way, which should also works for some other flashvideo websites. Here is an ad-blocking extension focusing on Chinese flashvideo website, I read its code but haven't test it yet.
So would Abp for Chrome make these rewriting filters independent and subscribable, giving youtubes could change their HTML and inline-js every now and then?

Having these rules served out via subscriptions doesn't sound like a great idea to me - it would probably be a security issue because it would allow subscription authors to do malicious things. So right now we have no choice but to use special solutions where it is worth it. I really hope that Google will fix the issue on their side.
