ABP logo in Extensions are instead of Address bar

Wouldn't it be more useful to show the ABP icon button in the extensions area instead of the address bar?
(Or at least, make it an user selectable config setting, so each user could choose by themselves.)

At the moment it really is a "page action" - once we improve the user interface and make it more similar to Firefox we will most likely make it a regular button. But as with any change, I am pretty certain that there will be more people opposed to it than in favor.
