What are the differences between FF and Chrome adblock?
How far does Chrome still have to go before they're the same?

I guess its just the interface?
As since 1.1, the Chrome version uses all filters for blocking content (not just hiding anymore).
Element hiding helper is sort of integrated in the address bar icon.
But theres no 'show blockable items', I think.

But it's fully capable in the same way?
Re: What are the differences between FF and Chrome adblock?
Since the update to version 1.1 it has become much more closer to the quality of the Firefox one. However, there are some limitations in Chrome so unless that changes ABP in Firefox will always provide the better adblocking experience.

See en/known-issues-chrome, these are the major "technical" issues right now.

Do those apply to the development builds?
Re: What are the differences between FF and Chrome adblock?
Of course they do - all of them are Chrome bugs and limitations.

What about Chrome's experimental API? Any promise for working with that?
Re: What are the differences between FF and Chrome adblock?
Extensions using experimental API cannot be uploaded to Chrome's add-on gallery. Anyway, the currently available experimental API won't help us much. Only interesting thing is the undocumented pop-ups API which should help improve our user interface.

Does ABP for Chrome support subscription links

There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.
Re: What are the differences between FF and Chrome adblock?
Question about Chrome not blocking request types. In your opinion, is/will there be any progress with this, or are limitations are a design choice?
Re: What are the differences between FF and Chrome adblock?
Requests by plugin content will be blocked when the Chromium project allows extensions to block object sub-requests.

I don't think it is a design choice, it merely doesn't seem to be a priority (and you can hardly blame Google devs for that). Frankly, the whole extension API doesn't seem to be a priority - I have yet to see a single bug being resolved as fixed.
