AB+ vs DDWRT

Wondering if there are advantages to using AB+ to block ads (in chrome) vs using DDWRT firmware on my router to do it.

What happens when theres a false positive on a site blocked by ddwrt?

You have to edit the list via command in the ddwrt firmware. It's more complicated than on AB+ for sure.

Haven't had that issue yet. They're all user reported and then a website filters them and ads some to the list.

Well, it worse for doubleclick hosted videos, theres no simple way to whitelist certain sites.. has very simple blocking (like blocking with /etc/hosts). I prefer having control of what I see.

It's also possible to use dnsmasq, but anyway I use that in conjunction with Adblock Plus.
