Unicode characters

Post by Mayhem »

I've often seen unicode characters being displayed incorrectly.
Refreshing the page would fix it but it doesn't feel sexy.

One way to fix it is to convert the file filterupdate.js from UTF-8 BOM-less to UTF-8.
Another way is to convert those characters.

It would be neat to have this fixed.

Yes, this sucks... For some reason only the development versions of Chrome seems to have this bug - Chrome 10 had it while it was in development but not when it became stable.

Anyway, this should all go away when Chrome starts using a subscriptions.xml file like the Firefox version instead of hardcoding subscriptions in scripts.
