It should, but if at all possible try making a 301 Redirect at the server level.
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.

Unfortunately I don't own the Gitorious server. :wink:

I added the redirect comment in the list.

It looks like the redirect comment has no effect on ABP for Chrome. :(

The feature probably hasn't been implemented in Chrome yet, nor has the fallback system. It doesn't look like there is any option but to wait for this functionality to be implemented...
