Having this same problem on getsatisfaction with adblock plus on google chrome... I can copy and paste a reply, then type after that. but I cannot start typing in the box >.>

That is a bug in Chrome or Adblock Plus for Chrome. EasyList isn't responsible for this.

But when you disable EasyList, the problem goes away.

You're right. But EasyList doesn't block anything an that site (tested with Firefox).

It seems to work for me. Which Chrome version and which Adblock Plus version are you using? Is the problem visibible in the topic text box, details or both?

Only details box for me. Chrome 14.0.835.186 + Adblock Plus for Google Chrome 1.1.4.685.

After downgrading from Chrome 15 to Chrome 14 I can reproduce the issue as well now. Typing is impossible until you press Ctrl+V. Looks like some Chrome bug that they fixed already. Too bad that they won't release Chrome 15 until end of October.

Yes, it is definitely that Chrome bug again, it is now striking on other sites as well apparently. The element hiding rule in EasyList causing the issue is apparently this one:
