Constantly reloading using Antisocial filter

Post by Noggie »

Using official adblock extension (from chrome web store) and https://adversity.googlecode.com/hg/Antisocial.txt
Will make some pages constantly reload (the tab icon blinks and the mouse cursor animates) and increase the cpu usage.

Sites this occurs on:

All pages referenced work fine for me in Firefox so it sounds like a Chrome / Chrome ABP issue to me.

Hello,
Here are some other good anti social filters, i have tried both and both work with chrome, although either one may work better than the other for you. Test them out and see.

Yes, it is a Chrome issue - some requests cannot be blocked and cause this reloading (the site keeps requesting xd_proxy.php from some Facebook domain). This works fine in the experimental builds.
