Just to make sure I understand correctly - both experimental and stable versions will now utilize webrequest on supported browsers.
The difference is that the experimental version still requires the experimental extensions API in order to (possibly?) take advantage of some other aspects of this API.

@Adam: Correct. The webRequest API is no longer experimental in Chrome 17 meaning that both versions can use it there. The difference is only Chrome 16.

The release notes say that ABP for Chrome supports abp: links, which is not true. It doesn't support "requiresLocation" and "requiresTitle".
