[Duplicate]Block image via right-click doesn't work reliably

I'm facing the same problem, using these:
Firefox Auroa 19.0a2 (2012-12-26)
ABP 2.1.2
Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hitting F5 works for me in bringing the ABP via right click context menu, haven't tried it any further though.
Meanwhile, I have to invoke the blockable items from the status bar.

The weird thing is: I can view the offending image with complete URL (forum/123.jpg), and the status bar still says "no blockable item".

Which website: all websites.

yep!!.....daily mail (yuck) site using firefox....the normal story images, the menu block doesnt appear. in some of the side columns, the block image menu still appears. FF17, win 7 64 bit, ABP 2.2.1

Sometimes the block image option doesn't appear for me either.

I am also having another issue, however. I see the option to block an image, but instead of being able to block that particular image, I can only block the generic background. So, for example, instead of giving me the option to block Imageshack...cat243.jpg, the option is to block background.jpg, or something like that, even though right clicking and selecting view image directs me to the correct link. That is something which I find annoying, but not always replicable.

Also, even after the page is refreshed, the problem sometimes persists. I see the block image option, but in the filter rule, it still doesn't show the correct image.

Same problem here. Any solution yet? It's a bit annoying to reload each time you want to block a picture. enough time for it to burn into your mind.

The option isn't showing up for me either in Firefox 18.0 and adblock 2.2.1 some updates on this would be nice...

@MonztA, this is a duplicate of forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11709 I guess. Only happens for me if the blockable resources list isn't opened when the page loads (or when I switch tabs, which also regenerates the blockable resources list)

ok yeah I can seemingly confirm this...if I click the lower left ABP red icon, and open blockable items, the block image menu item comes back again
