I have to reinstall adblock plus to Google Chrome everyday

Every day when i go online, the adblock plus icon is on the right corner of my browser like it should be, but when i go on youtube/facebook, the ads arent blocked? I have to reinstall adblock plus every time i get on, and it works after that. How can i get adblock to permanently block my ads like on my other computer?
