adblock plus doesn't stay on

whenever I shut down firefox 24.0 and open the window again it doesn't show up in my bar. I keep having to go to add-ons click disable it then reinable it for it to show up again.

probably you are talking about DownloadHelper version

ok, the missing icon patched was already released, so probably you have a corrupted profile
try a new profile
