High CPU and memory usage

Using Chrome on WIN XP. Wait a few minutes and then it happens for another few minutes.

for the last few weeks my browser and PC get stuck
when addblock start's to count in high speed and can't do any thing but close it
even in sites like google translate or other sites
if it's not fixed i'll have to uninstall after year's of using it

are you using adblock plus ? or the other adblock ?
what subscriptions are you using ?
this happens only on few sites or all of them ?
did you try to disable all other extensions and try again ?

Using AdBlock Plus. The only subscription is EasyList. All other extensions are disabled. The problem I have is only on the specific site I mentioned. Enable and disable AdBlock Plus for this site and the problem starts.

I cannot reproduce this issue with either of the two links in Chrome 33 with ABP 1.7.4 and EasyList Germany+EasyList installed. If you are still facing this issue, please file an issue with your detailed environment at https://issues.adblockplus.org
