Hi,
I'm experiencing weird behavior in Chrome since I installed adBlock.
Sometimes when I open a new tab and try to go to a website, it takes forever, and it never actually opens the page. Also, when I open multiple tabs, say 4, all of them take forever.
It seems that a tab relies on the previous one to finish, in other words consider the following example:
- Open two tabs with two different websites.
- The first one hangs and spinwaits, so does the second.
- Close the first one
- The second one loads normally.
Also, sometimes chrome tabs use 30-32% cpu when opened. Again, goes away with chrome restart.
The problem seems to occur after I wake up my pc with opened tabs in chrome.
The problem goes away if I shut down chrome and restart it (losing all the opened tabs though)
Chrome tabs use high cpu or hang
Re: Chrome tabs use high cpu or hang
Apparently, I cannot reproduce this issue with Chrome 33.0.1750.154 m and ABP 1.7.4.1141. If the issue still exists for you, please file it with detailed information about your environment at https://issues.adblockplus.org
