Tried "WHAT-to-DO if ABP is not working (chrome)" and I still get ads on gametrailers.com.
Example: http://www.gametrailers.com/videos/r2c0 ... s-serious-
ABP is working because when I click on the icon in the urlbar it says "Blocked ads: 4 on this page" but when i go click-to-play the video I get a pre-roll ad.
I'm using the EasyList filter for both Firefox and Chromium. Firefox works perfectly.

ABP on Chromium not blocking GameTrailers.com ads
Re: ABP on Chromium not blocking GameTrailers.com ads
I tried it with 33.0.1708.0 (234749) and it seems to work now.
Re: ABP on Chromium not blocking GameTrailers.com ads
Hi MonztA, I just downloaded Version 33.0.1708.0 (234749) and still got the pre-roll ad.
I'm using a brand new profile with default chrome://flags/ and only have Adblock Plus 1.6.1.1014 extension installed. Adblock is working blocking the ads on the page around the video. That was never the problem. The problem is the video ad before the actual clip "Pach-Attack!".
I came across a chrome extension that did manage to block the pre-roll ad called HTTP Switchboard ( https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... g?hl=en-US )
In HTTP Switchboard's options there's section at the bottom called Chromium: behind-the-scene requests, check "Process behind-the-scene HTTP requests".
Now visit the gametrailer link http://www.gametrailers.com/videos/r2c0 ... s-serious- and set HTTP Switchboard to look like this:
Reload the page and you'll get no pre-roll ad and get the actual "Pach-Attack!" clip I wanted to watch.
How can I get ABP to block these "behind-the-scene requests"?
Thanks

Hm, you're right. Still happens for me as well. Moved the topic to the bug forum.tal wrote:Hi MonztA, I just downloaded Version 33.0.1708.0 (234749) and still got the pre-roll ad.
I don't know about the "behind-the-scene requests" though.

If you manually add this filter; ||adm.fwmrm.net^ does it help?tal wrote:Tried "WHAT-to-DO if ABP is not working (chrome)" and I still get ads on gametrailers.com.

I currently cannot reproduce this issue with Chrome 33 and ABP 2.5.1 with EasyList Germany+EasyList & Adblock Warning Removal List. If it still exists for you, please file a detailed report at https://issues.adblockplus.org
