Status bar not displaying correctly in Thunderbird

Downloaded ver 2.4 from here Eng. page.

Problem still exists with newest version 2.5.1.

No problem with 2.4.0!

Just confirmed again and with Mozilla. It appears to be a toggle in the program. Here's how to diagnose it:
Start TB normally
Find status bar incorrectly displayed
Go to Help>Restart with Add-ons Disabled
Confirm on popup window
Quit on next popup
Restart normally

One can not restart the second time, and instead, reboot the computer. TB will open normally because the "toggle" appears to be persistent.

Of course, I just turned AdBlockPlus off in Thunderbird as probably not being needed.

Would it be possible for someone to confirm that we're not just posting bugreports into a void here? That is -- is this the/a right place and is anyone "from adblock" actually reading this? Nothing seems to be happening...

Yes and exist also with the last 24.4.0 TB version

no problem at all with version 2.5.1 in TB Beta 28.0b1 and Earlybird 29.0a2
