Flashing on Facebook

I use Adblock mainly because I was sick of ads on Facebook, however in the last few days where the ads normally are there is steady flashing, the adblocker symbol seems to be counting at the rate of 1 number a second, it is really irritating almost as if the ads are trying to get through. I am not very good at explaining this, but imagine this page flashing at you all the time. I have FB on Chrome, not on Firefox, although I have adblocker on Firefox with no problems. Not to worry, just solved the problem - using Facebook on Firefox - no more problems!

filter lists enabled ? did you update them ?
did you remove your custom filters ?
other extensions installed in your chrome ?
