[WorksForMe] No filter list activated by default in Chrome

Post by Till »

I am using the Chrome experimental development build and for some reason the existing filter subscription (Fanboy) was suddenly gone. I reinstalled and still no filter subscription was activated by default, I had to add it manually.

That's probably http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issue ... ?id=103018, discussed at length here: forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=8574

As a work-around, the new builds will automatically add the default subscriptions if data has been lost. To actually fix the issue you need to remove the file "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\File System\Origins\CURRENT".
