I have serious doubts that those are Criteo ads. Can you please provide steps to reproduce them, like urls and your browser settings?

Those surely weren't allowed by the Acceptable Ads whitelist; go to lanik.us (EasyList forums) to complain about content that should be blocked but isn't.
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.

The other you mention seem to have more to do with Google's privacy policy than with Adblock Plus.
