Hey all,
We’ve been having an issue with in-feed ads that several content-makers who take part in Acceptable Ads let us know about. Acceptable Ads do allow in-feed ads as they normally blend into the native design of the user requested content. Users also directly interact with many in-feed ads in several ways, for example by adding personal comments to it. Sometimes such interactions can expand the size of an in-feed ads without making the ad more annoying. So to have a larger size and still being able to fit in the non-intrusive native design of content-makers, we’re reflecting that requirement in the criteria:
Size requirements
In-feed ads are permitted to take up more space, as long as they are not substantially larger than other elements in the list or feed.
You can read the full criteria at
https://acceptableads.com/en/about/criteriaWe are looking forward to have the Acceptable Ads Committee making such changes in the future. As a reminder, we’re currently recruiting members for the Acceptable Ads Committee, which will take full control of the Acceptable Ads initiative starting next March. We’re planning on having a user representative on that committee – and since this is a forum where only the most concerned and informed users come, we’d like to extend to you all a chance to nominate yourself and/or others to take part. Here is the link where you can do so:
