For example, we currently have Criteo.net in the whitelist and that's how their 'acceptable' ads looks like:

Two pictures on the left are fine, but half naked old guy and that tumor on the right are clearly not.
Here is another unpleasant sample:

Hi Lain_13,

I have serious doubts that those are Criteo ads. Can you please provide steps to reproduce them, like urls and your browser settings?

Thanks!

Umbral wrote:Adblock Plus’s Acceptable Ads Committee.

Latest Ad block plus is no longer blocking anything properly.

I don't watch porn but to test your Ad block Plus here you go :

https://www.xvideos.com/video28429565/b ... il_taissia

Huge Penis enlargement pictures on the right.

And here ads on the right top side :

http://farmergrup.ucoz.com/

These were previously blocked.
Those surely weren't allowed by the Acceptable Ads whitelist; go to lanik.us (EasyList forums) to complain about content that should be blocked but isn't.

The other you mention seem to have more to do with Google's privacy policy than with Adblock Plus.

Post edited by forum moderator: domain removed due to ABP policy violation.

The program defines criteria for the content, size and positioning of ads on a web page that are deemed to be acceptable for display even when the AdBlock Plus ad blocker is enabled. Once the ads on a website have been submitted and approved by the program, those ads will appear to visitors using AdBlock Plus. The displaying of acceptable ads, however, is only supported by AdBlock Plus, and may be turned off by users that do not wish to see any advertising.

That's a good step.

YouTube advertising should be allowed if the ad runs for less than 10 seconds.

YouTubers rely heavily on ad revenue and a 10 second ad is a small price to pay for the content some content creators post.

It is hard to tell form the image, position wise they are good, they do have a distinctive label and the size looks good (but would have to check).
I say all this based on the current Acceptable ads Criteria.

The huge blocked ad does not seem compliant to the Criteria, though.

I found that same article on http://www.trend-chaser.com and don't see the same thing shown in the screenshot, if you are reaching out to get your ads whitelisted on trend-chaser.com please submit the site through https://acceptableads.com/get-whitelisted/

It is difficult to tell shape the picture, position shrewd they are great, they do have an unmistakable mark and the size looks great (yet would need to check).

The program characterizes criteria for the substance, size and situating of advertisements on a site page that are esteemed to be worthy for presentation notwithstanding when the AdBlock Plus promotion blocker is empowered. When the promotions on a site have been submitted and endorsed by the program, those advertisements will appear to guests utilizing AdBlock Plus. The showing of adequate promotions, notwithstanding, is just upheld by AdBlock Plus and might be killed by clients that don't wish to perceive any publicizing.

I say this depends on the current Acceptable advertisements Criteria

The immense blocked promotion does not appear to be consistent with the Criteria, however.
