Advertising type

Additional technical information
YielKit converts regular text into affiliate text links.

Concerns
I think this one is quite controversial: Naturally, there is no separation between content and ads. Also, the ads are only marked as such by a mouse-over tooltip which doesn't really fullfil our requirements and might be considered as misleading. On the other hand, the ads don't take up any extra space on the website and sometimes the links might provide extra value to the user.

What do you think, can this be qualified as acceptable advertising?

That is not acceptable imo. The ad links should at least be in a different colour and/or be underlined to distinguish them from regular links.

These links are subtle and un-obtrusive and allow users to access the exact product if they so wish. For me that ads to user gratification. Many people browse the net looking for exact product matches and they can get it instantly with this.

Nothing in these links sends me a sign that it is advertising. The links are now underlined and are clear, meaning users can distinguish what they are clicking on. When looking at the site you linked my user experience is not diminished, I feel the same as if I were looking at a normal page. This form of link structure is definitely the right way to go for affiliate links.
