Hi, I want setup a proxy/socks 5 server can work with adp list's
which server can do that?

you can use squid + squidGuard (

Will this work like the one used in Android tablets? That's what I want to replicate. I find that, if the computer gets too busy, Adblock seems to get knocked out of memory. So I figured it would be better to run the proxy server on my computer instead.

I thought u can choose any of proxy... Or there is some difference between them?

The only proxy server that works with ABP lists by default is ABP for Android; for others, you need some script to transform these filters into a format that the proxy server understands, like adblock2privoxy for Privoxy:
