Non-functioning Adblock

Post by retro60 »

I installed Adblock a long time ago and until a month ago it was working fine and suddenly stopped I tried to reinstall it but was told that it was already installed but it does not show up in my programs list, I am now plagued with ads that are driving me nuts what do I do :?:

Yes it is in my extensions page and is enabled but nothing on options, and the logo is on the right of the menu bar but there is no writing on it.

Latest Opera but I cannot take screen shots I do not have that option, tried snippet tool but that did not work either, the drop down list for APB is blank and does not show any writing ie ads blocked as it did before

-scan your system for malware / adware
use malwarebytes antimalware ==> http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware
and adwcleaner http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/A ... 12632.html
-reset opera ==> http://winaero.com/blog/how-to-reset-op ... -defaults/
-reinstall ABP
