Hi!
So, when I browse the category pages on xhamster with Opera, the ads seem to be getting through. They're blocked just fine in Firefox, but not in Opera (or on Chrome, I might add).
I'm using Opera version 42.0.2393.85 and Adblock plus version Version 1.12.4.

Re: xhamster ads slipping through
i told you before, i use adblock latitude on palemoon, this websocket filter isn't supported,
that's why i was asking a different filtering approach

Re: xhamster ads slipping through
I know about your palemoon, but if you posted in opera subforum ?
You are not using ABP, you don't want an advanced adblocker as uBo.
Try on easylist forum or ask palemoon devs to implement a decent adblocker.

Re: xhamster ads slipping through
uBo has issues, & is limited in the edition of filters knowing the ehh's replacemnet (ep) is very limited in function & not stable. like i told u, i'm not tossing ehh to use that "decent" ubo.
& why not opera subforum ? because you have more knowledge than those who are at an "opera subforum" & replies r more regular in abp's forum.. unless u decided to not giving me a filter alternative for this site.
"If palemoon devs haven't managed to create a compatible adblock plus version for palemoon after years of coding, it means they don't give a tos or don't have enough devs who seriously care".
note: many reports & complaints have been made in the palemoon's forum regarding the instability of ABL. & its author never gave a tos about adding a progressive fixes & make it up to date.
He calls everyone crybabies & progress is extremely slow. i won't be able to expect anything from them, unless other devs take the code & update the author's fork of abp (abl) at palemoon.
it's a waste of time to go there.. now if you don't want to provide me an alternative filter, i'm gonna have to vainly repost the request at easylist forum, creating an account.

Re: xhamster ads slipping through
when i add generichide filters, they don't appear "checked", so its disabled in abl.
The only two filters that have effect:
But only if i have cookies, or if the "first" popup & redirect to about:blank were manually fixed..

Code: Select all
