I had v. 1.13. I always disable all autoupdates in my system. However, 1.13.2 installed w/o asking me, making all pages crash. I had to copy Opera Stable folder from backup to make Opera work again. But today it happened again! How to stop this?! Moreover, even copying the backup files didn't fix the problem - after several minutes Adblock 1.13 stopped working, too!
My Opera is 36.0, and I cannot update it because it's the last XP-compatible version. I am happy with it with Adblock 1.13 (or earlier), just tell me how to disable any updates and to restore the working version!
How to disable autoupdate and return to the working version?
Re: How to disable autoupdate and return to the working version?
So, it's not Adblock but Opera problem, and the only solution is to change next_check value in Preference file? Does anybody know how to decipher the format like "next_check":"13135333185271875? Will changing this number to 99999999999999999 work?
Re: How to disable autoupdate and return to the working version?
No changes of next_check work - Opera restores the previous value and makes update again
So it is still Adblock problem that it's 1.13.2 does not work correctly with Opera 36! Any way to fix it?

Did you set that file (preferences) as read-only ?
As for 1.13.2 is incompatible with your opera version. A fix (to set the correct limit) is under review.
