Bug(?) Report
Phone: Samsung Galaxy Y
Status: Rooted
Android Version: 2.3.6
After installing, granting root permission, and downloading a list (Fanboy's List) I can't connect to any http website in any browser including default. Tried with different filters and still the same thing happened.

Re: Bug(?) Report
Can you please install the latest development build: devbuilds/adblockplusandroid/ then, when the issue repeats, go to Advanced settings, press Show configuration, tap on text to copy it and paste it here?
Re: Bug(?) Report
Sure, it may take a while though as I still need to do some studying (exams)

Re: Bug(?) Report
I have exactly the same problem on my rooted Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos GT-S6802 (Android 2.3.6) —
Adblock Plus blocks ALL http-traffic, when i select "Enable filtering". If The option "Enable filtering" in unchecked, then traffic passes through.

Re: Bug(?) Report
I can confirm the issue with RU Adlist+EasyList. Seems to be some kind of filter issue but it works fine on desktop.firedevil wrote:Android 4.1.1 samsung galaxy s3

Phone: Samsung Galaxy Ace (GT-S5830i)
Status: Rooted
Android Version: 2.3.6
Country: UK
Network Provider: Three
Just downloaded the app from official website and probably found what's causing it (and a temporary work around). Trying to connect with 3g and the same problem with no connection is occurring. But not for all sites. The ones with secure http protocol are opening fine. So the workaround I mentioned is to just add "s" to http to any site you want to visit. I wonder if anyone else can confirm my assumption that only unsecured http sites are unavailable.
I am not sure yet if the ads are blocked on https sites.
Google Play App Opens without problem
from Internet app:
https://adblockplus.org opens fine
http://adblockplus.org (withot "s") is unavalable.
https://drive.google.com opens fine
https://facebook.com opens fine
http://facebook.com (withot "s") is unavalable.
https://google.com opens fine

https://eztv.it/ opens fine
